Reforms did not have the expected impact: UET President Civici
Policies and reforms undertaken these recent years from the government have produced a positive effect in the economy, but not at the expected amount.
This was the statement made by UET President Adrian Civici in an interview for SCAN TV.
According to him, since most of them have become natural for citizens, not it is time to intervene to reduce some of them, especially the taxes on salaries.
“Basically, most of the policies that were implemented were policies to better fiscalize all sectors and all segments of the Albanian economy and I think that from this point of view the results were not as expected. But today, two years after this reform, coupons as well have become something common, and there has been some progress as far as salary declarations are concerned. I think the biggest problems were seen in high salaries of over 1.3 million,” Civici said.
As for the question of how he considers economic programs in this election campaign, Civici says they should not make euphoric promises, but concrete and accessible ones.
