Budget’s special fund rose by ALL 4.6 bln in 2017, including social and health insurance

Revenues from special funds in the state budget, including social and health insurance, have increased this year.
Referring to the official data published by the Ministry of Finance, it results that the revenues in the state budget from the special funds segment is ALL 4.6 billion more than the same period of 2016.
For the 8-month period of this year, ALL 57.2 billion or 69% of annual planning was collected.
Of this value, ALL 48.6 billion have been collected from social insurance, which occupy the largest share, while 7.7 billion ALL have been collected from health insurance.
A year ago, revenues received in the state budget from special funds amounted to ALL 52.6 billion.
But this scheme continues to be funded by the state budget, where expenditures for this item for this period are at the value of ALL 105.6 billion.
The action against informality launched two years ago by the government has had positive effects on the social security scheme.
Representatives of the government have stated that during this year there were thousands more people declared as employed and now they are paying social security contributions.
But according to analyzes, not all of them fall into the section of new jobs. While some are new jobs, others are jobs that have gone from unregistered to formal.
