Credins Bank issues its latest corporate bonds – Iute Credit expected to be next in line
Borrowing through debt securities is becoming an increasingly common practice among important Albanian companies, which is evidence of increased potential for the functioning of a genuine securities market.
Credins Bank is the most active financial institution in issuing bonds through a private offer.
At the end of January, the Financial Supervisory Authority approved a prospect for issuing new Credins Bank bonds for a value of Euro 1.5 million, Euro 500 thousand and Euro 300 million respectively.
Bonds have a maturity of seven years and are convertible into shares of the bank.
Credins Bank remains the most important issuer of bonds in the Albanian market but it is not the only one.
According to the latest official balance of 2016, the total value of Credins bank bonds was ALL 5.2 billion or EUR 39 million.
Over the last few years, Besa Fund, the financial institution NOA and Balfin Group have also applied debt borrowing.
Soon, another financial institution, the microcredit company Iute Credit plans to issue debt through the sale of bonds with a private offer.
