Gov’t must first reform administration, then set priorities: Expert Kadia
Now that the newly-sworn in government has published its four year program, there are many debates in relation to the accomplishment of its objectives.
According to expert Besart Kadia, the program presented by “Rama 2 Government” has a new approach, but what is to be seen is whether citizens and businesses will benefit from it.
According to him, the new government must first reform the administration and then set development priorities.
“It is feasible, but you have to make the first steps first. This government has shown that it has been often seized by panic, changing priorities every six months. If the same thing happens in the next four years, I believe that it will be destined to fail in achieving the grand objective for economic growth of over 5%.”
“The first step is inside the Albanian state itself, so that it can be a reliable partner for domestic and foreign investors, and then tourism or agriculture or whatever else can be set as development priorities. So we have to make careful steps because we always fall into the same trap: when we want to do much, we open many fronts at the same time,” Kadia said.
The new government has already started its executive activity, while deep reforms have been announced.
These reforms are expected to revolve around the public administration, justice system as well as in facilitating procedures for citizens and businesses.
